PPC Campaign Results

Bricsys

Driving users to the site in France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Middle East, UK, USA, Canada, Sweden and South Africa to download a free trial of BricsCAD software.

Aim

  • Generate BricsCAD downloads
  • Drive down the average CPA

Strategy

To improve performance extensive keyword research was carried out for each country and found missed opportunities to promote Bricsys to users who spoke English in countries that Bricsys operate in across the globe. The research found that there are high monthly search volumes for branded, non-branded and competitor terms to create new campaigns to run alongside the local campaigns.

Results

A consistent month-on-month increase in ad clicks from September to December with a total yearly increase of 166% from 255,243 in 2020 to 375,457 in 2021.

The BricsCAD download also saw a monthly increase during this time period along with a 281% yearly increase in total downloads from 3,818 in 2020 to 14,565 in 2021.

The average cost per download was reduced by 56% from an average of €59.47 in 202 to €25.44 in 2021.

8K Flexwarm

To drive sales for heated jackets during the winter month’s golden quarter for an unknown apparel brand.

Strategy

The strategy involved generating awareness for the brand reaching users who were looking for non-branded search terms to compete with other well-established brands – utilising ad extensions, adopting aggressive bidding tactics and filtering out any irrelevant clicks that were highly unlikely to drive sales.

Results

Delivered £15,000 return on ad spend for Flexwarm via PPC.

The Ticket Factory

Driving conversions through sophisticated segmentation and trailblazing advertising optimisation tools

Aim

  • Enhance revenue
  • Gain larger selling allocations

Strategy

The strategy included creating personas for each ticket campaign using Hitwise data and Mosaic segments. WeatherFIT technology applied weather rules to campaigns, and TC schedules were studied to ensure ads were live during programmes featuring artists from the campaigns.

Results

The campaigns generated 488 conversions, resulting in £32,266.50 in revenue – a return of £3.22 for every £1 spent.

The average conversion rate of 2.48% was 148% above target, and the average click-through rate was 6.14%, beating the goal by 105%.

BBC Children in Need

Increase awareness of the fundraising campaign 'Do Your Thing' to drive users to the BBC Children In Need site to sign up for fundraising packs, donate online and buy Pudsey Merchandise.

Aim

Strategy

The objective was to raise brand awareness at the beginning of the month to drive users to the site to sign up for fundraising packs prior to the appeal night and were encouraged to buy merchandise.

During the second week, the donations campaign went live to get people to donate online as the live appeal show drew closer. To achieve these objectives ads were shown within the search results of Google as well as target users across social media to show video and image ads on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter to reach a wide audience.

Results

Overall the campaign was very successful in driving visitors to the Children in Need site with a total number of 126,000 visits in November via Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Twitter and the Display Network.

The estimated total number of visits to the site was set at 18,076 and the final number of visits was 463% higher through optimisation to drive the overall cost per click down from £1.56 to £0.21.

Pepperberry

Helping Pepperberry party at Christmas with PPC that puts them ahead of their competitors

Aim

  • Drive new customers to the Bravissimo site
  • Generate £107,588.60 gross revenue from November to December through PPC

Strategy

Google Search and Shopping was utilised to drive immediate conversions. Sitelinks were added to help the ads stand out in a competitive holiday season, and all our campaigns were set to target the UK across all devices to reach as many new users as possible.

An aggressive bidding strategy ensured the ads were shown in the top ad positions at key times and on the best performing devices. Through optimisation conversion rates were improved to boost performance.

Results

The campaign delivered gross revenue of £127,655, which was 18.66% above the original target
